So here’s the truth… I’m a highly driven am

So here’s the truth…

I’m a highly driven ambitious girlie with a big vision and big dreams, but for the most part I didn’t actually start to feel genuinely good in life until the last five years.

Not to say everything is sunshine’s and rainbows now or that everything before that was trash because it wasn’t.

But for the majority of my life, I was achieving success according to OTHER people’s terms.

I was constantly grinding, constantly reaching for the next thing, meeting my goals, but never really stopping to appreciate the progress along the way.

And overall I just felt really unhappy with my life.

And it was only after reaching most of the goals I set for myself that I realized I was miserable and that I didn’t actually want any of it. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Cue one of the major awakenings of my life…

But amongst all of that, here’s one of the primary keys to avoiding that or changing your life if you’re already in that position… 👇🏾

✨GET REALLY CLEAR ON YOU!

And here’s what I mean by that…

👉🏾 who are you when you’re happiest and most at peace?

👉🏾 who are you when you’re casually in flow losing time in the zone when no one’s watching?

👉🏾 what would be one of the most awesome things that could happen in your life if nothing stopped you and you could have, do or be anything in the world?

Knowing yourself truly, the real you, your real values… the you beyond your fears and conditioning is the person you get to be most intimate with to create a life that actually fulfills you.

This is what I teach in all of my programs and deep dive into in my 6 month program Born Bold.

Yes, you can use these steps whether or not your a parent.😌

But also, save this in case you want to come back to these steps in the future.💜 So here’s the deal… 👇🏾

As a mom, holding space for the big emotions of my son so he can feel seen, supported, and validated is important for me.

And… holding space for myself and my emotions is still equally important. I can’t show up for the people and things I love the same if I don’t show up for myself first. And to be honest I don’t want to.

Personally, I get super resentful when I meet the needs of others first without meeting my own overtime so even if it’s just: a snack, a drink of water, or a deep breath in a pinch… I still show up.

Because resentment towards myself and others for ME failing to show up for myself, is just not the vibe for me or my relationships anymore. And tbh, is some real water sign self sabotage 💩. So here’s what I do instead… 😌👇🏾

1. I tune in to what you’re feeling…

Am I angry, overwhelmed, anxious…? Whatever it is I just witness it and try to tune into the emotion present itself.

2. Hold space for it…

Big feels can be uncomfortable for me, but what’s even more uncomfortable is not giving myself the space or lack of judgment to feel them.

I used to struggle with judging my emotions a lot because I felt like i “shouldn’t” feel that way or should “be over things by now.” Which obviously didn’t help, and just brought shame to the table to deal with too 😂

So rather than judging what I “think” they should be, I just open and make space for what it is and let it flow.

And that feels really nourishing for me.

Especially, coming from a background where people didn’t always know how to hold space or validate emotions with me. Letting them be feels like one of the biggest moments of self love for me. 🧡

3. What do I need to move through this? What feels most nourishing now?

Today, it was less stimulation, less clutter, and more light and open space. So I took a moment for myself, and went outside.

I sat in the sun, reconnected with my breath and my body. Took some deep breaths and just held myself. 💜

Two of the things I love the most are my deep loving connections and… my freedom.

And for the longest time, I thought I couldn’t have both and that I had to choose.

But then I realized I just wasn’t as happy choosing one, so I stopped fighting myself and chose both.

I built my lifestyle around prioritizing what I love most.

For me that looked like,

⛰️ choosing to build a van with my partner to travel around the country part time

⛰️ adding a third seat when we found out we were having a baby

🐣staying home for the first year of my child’s life to raise and watch him grow.

🌿Or choosing to be plant based, and having a mostly plant based pregnancy too. Or even owning my own business.

I’ve done a lot of things that aren’t as mainstream.

But they all felt true to what actually mattered to me and to who I felt called to be in any moment. And that can change overtime as we evolve.

It’s meant to.

So when it comes to honoring our authenticity, I don’t think we’re really meant to choose.

Yes, maybe we get to be creative about how we’ll meet different needs and parts within us. But ultimately, I believe we’re vast enough to have it all.✨

The universe built us exactly how we were meant to be, and so if you feel called to do something in your life differently… maybe that’s because you’re the exact person whose supposed to model that that’s okay and lead others forward.

My path is my own. And it looks very different from the path of many around me.

Sometimes I felt uncomfortable with that in the past, because I’d wonder if I was doing something “wrong.” But for me, doing life like those around me just didn’t feel right. 🤷🏾‍♀️

And what I’ve learned, is that when I’m happy and in love with the experiences I’ve been blessed to have because of the choices I’ve made… all of that judgment begins to matter a lot less.

So here’s to doing life your way and to honoring what feels true for you. It wasn’t made for anybody else to live.🥂✨

Oh the places we’ll go…✨

I’ve never really felt like a quite fit in. I always felt different from the way I spoke, to the color of my skin, or my interests.

It always felt like there was something that set me apart from the crowd and I didn’t always like that in the past.

Because the truth is I didn’t always want to stand out. It felt easier to hide. Because people not seeing me typically meant less questions, less rejection, and less feelings of not belonging.

It was only until I got older, when I was blessed enough attract my best friends that I began to realize I could belong by being myself and that I didn’t have to hide.

That shift amplified when I got older and started recognizing and sharing my gifts, and even more so now after becoming a mom.🧡

And here’s what I’ve learned…👇🏾

I belong as myself.

Belonging, the feeling of home and safety only came to me after a long journey of trying to be everything else besides myself in order to belong.

Ahaha it never worked.

And what I’ve come to know, is that there’s no amount of external validation for the false version of you, that could ever fill the void of unconditional love for the authentic version of you.

Belonging comes by being you. We feel at home when we accept ourselves.

I’m not for everyone. I don’t fit what most people would assume in into from the look of me.

I like adventures, exploring backroads, endlessly reading self development and spirituality books, expanding my mind.

And I’m highly particular. I only really want to surround myself with certain energies and consume certain foods.

I used to hate this about me, because I thought it made me harder to love.

It’s only recently in the past several years that’s I’ve realized, that the differences that make me me are exactly part of what makes me magnetic to the people and opportunities that are meant to be mine.

I share this because the same applies to you.

You are different because you were meant to be different. Your differences don’t hinder your success, they make way for it.

We thrive by being our authentic selves. The more you can uncover and make space for who you truly are, the easier and more fulfilling life gets.

Trust. Regulate. And remember that your worthiness

Trust. Regulate. And remember that your worthiness and lovability is unconditional. It doesn’t go away if you f*ck up.

I used to take forever to make decisions, connect with people, and really just do a lot of things because I was always trying to “perfect” myself.

I was always trying to get it “right.”

I wanted perfect grades. The perfect job. Everything had to be perfectly planned and go exactly as I expected or in my mind everything would fall apart.

I like to attribute this lovely quality to my Virgo moon ahaha 😌

But then after getting everything I “wanted,” I very quickly realized that I didn’t actually want any of it at all.

I wasn’t happy, and I was terrified.

Because I could quickly feel the whole trajectory I had originally planned for my life falling apart.

I had to let go of everything I thought I knew about what was right for me and my life and surrender to something else.

And for the first time in my life, I truly let my heart lead the way. And trusted that my intuition and the universe would guide me.

I just knew that somehow someway something better is available for me, and that I would be led.

And here’s what I’ve learned…

You will always be guided back towards what is of the highest good for you. Everything can work in your favor.

This trust has allowed me to magnetize friendships of my dreams, create my dream home on wheels, start a business, and manifest the most destined & loving spirit baby.

Trust in my life and trust in myself has allowed me to move into what the universe has planned for me and align with a plan that was better than my own.

Yes, a relative plan and clarity around what you want is helpful.

AND knowing when to surrender and trust that you’re being taken exactly where you need to go opens up a whole new level.

Creating the life you want doesn’t always feel e

Creating the life you want doesn’t always feel easy.

Yes, it can be really exciting and liberating to live a life steeped with intention that you know you hand curated for yourself.

AND, there’s often a lot of challenging feelings along the way.

Can I do this? Am I doing something wrong? Is this the right path for me?

There’s a lot of confrontation with limiting stories and beliefs that often go unnoticed when you were just going through the motions and going with the system so to speak.

But when you decide to rise…

and truly step into what you’re truly capable of, what you want, and who you KNOW you’re capable of being, that’s when you face those stories and challenges head on.

Living a truly authentic life is not for the light hearted. It takes courage, and willingness to face your sh*t.

But most of all it takes support.

Yes, you have everything it takes to build any life you desire. I truly believe that. And chances are you can do a lot alone.

But we THRIVE, when we come together.

And, I truly believe as collective social beings we weren’t meant go through life alone.

I think society has glorified the value of independence and forgotten the power we gain through interdependence.

None of us ever truly gets to where we are fully alone.
Whether it’s the farmers that supplied the food for your groceries, the people that came together to build your home, or any business you may work for. OR, even the two people that made you…

We are all interconnected.

I truly believe complete independence is an illusion, and that with healthy boundaries, we thrive when we receive aligned support.

Growing together through lifting eachother up, seeing and hearing another, healing old stories, and building inspired lives creates new worlds.

That’s why I created the live programs I have and the group element included because we thrive when we can hold space and hold the vision when we come together.
